Come of Age.

Come of Age is a magazine I made for young people figuring out the basics of adult life and the kind of stuff we were never really taught in school. I thought back to that in-between stage when I was leaving school, moving out, and heading to uni, and asked myself: what kind of magazine would I have actually wanted to read then? While the school curriculum focuses heavily on academic knowledge, Come of Age argues that mastering the basics of adulthood is just as valuable.

I teamed up with photographer Alfie Fisher and my friend Lila, who’s an illustrator. I styled and art directed the shoot, and handled all the design, including the cover and layouts. I printed a physical copy of Issue 1 and also made it available as a digital PDF so more people could access it.
